Nasaline sachets are used to create a special solution for nasal washes
Nasaline sachets contain high purity pharmaceutical grade (USP Grade) sodium chloride (salt) and sodium bicarbonate (soda) in appropriate proportions.
The resulting solution can be adjusted to isotonic or hypertonic according to our needs, has a special pH to avoid chemical burns, does not contain iodine, additives or preservatives and is specially made for nasal washes.
It is recommended to use Nasaline salt for use with the Nasaline Nasal Wash System instead of the usual iodine cooking salt, as the iodine contained in table salt can cause allergic reactions. It is also not recommended to use seawater, which may be contaminated, contain pollen or algae.
Each sachet is made up of 250 ml of isotonic solution or two sachets in 250 ml of hypertonic solution.
