Dietary supplement set reduces the postprandial glycemic response inhibiting the enzymatic reaction of carbohydrate digestion. It is useful for reducing glucose levels in pre-Diabetes conditions. Ingredient Actions :
- White mulberry leaf extract, thanks to the substance 1-deoxynosirimycin (DNJ), inhibits α-glucosidase. That is, the enzyme that is par excellence responsible for the intestinal transformation of starch and sugars into glucose.
- In Glicoper we find the patented form of Reducose which contains 5% 1-DNJ, an amount about 5 times higher than other white mulberry extracts.
- The Reducose download can lead to up to a 40% reduction in carbohydrate absorption. A fact that results in reduced postprandial and insulinemic peaks.
