Vitex agnus-castus (often referred to as Vitex) is a plant found in Mediterranean countries. The 'popularity' of the herb has greatly increased in recent years as there are several scientific reports on its action. The berries of Vitex are used in the preparation of the extract of the herb and contain a wide range of phytochemical active substances including flavonoids and a group of chemicals of iridoids including aucubin and agnuside. Lamberts Vitex is a titrated extract equivalent to 1000mg of dried Vitex fruit. Vitex can be used together with other nutritional supplements such as Vitamin B6 and Evening Primrose Oil.

Tablet with: Calcium Carbonate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Acacia, Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Titanium Dioxide, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Stearic Acid, Iron Oxides, Copper Chlorophyllin.

Assimilation time: Less than 1 hour. Suitable for vegetarians.

Allergies: None.

Precautions: It should not be taken by pregnant or breastfeeding women.
