Elemental zinc in picolinate form which is considered the most absorbable. Useful in cases of infertility in men, anorexia nervosa and various cases of inflammation and infections, rheumatoid arthritis, acne, macular degeneration and senile dementia. There are increased needs in situations of pregnancy, breastfeeding, surgery, injuries and alcoholism. Alcohol, vegetarians and the elderly are often deficient in zinc. High doses of zinc can adversely affect copper levels (and vice versa). Although scientific views on the ideal copper-zinc ratio differ, for extended periods of use a 1: 7.5 and 1:10 copper to zinc ratio may be necessary. On tablets. Take 1 tablet daily, preferably with meals. Suitable for vegans.
