Non-acidic form of vitamin C

Taking large doses of vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid can cause mild gastrointestinal upset, especially in people with a history of gastrointestinal upset. In cases where it is deemed necessary to either take high doses of vitamin C, or take vitamin C from people with an individual history of gastrointestinal disorders, Gentle Vitamin C is an excellent choice as this product provides vitamin C in the form of calcium ascorbate, a non-acidic and fully absorbable form of the vitamin.

Up to 2g of vitamin C per day can be obtained using this product (4 tablets). In these cases we recommend taking the required tablets throughout the day. Each tablet also provides 77mg of calcium which can make a significant contribution to your daily calcium intake, especially when taking a large number of tablets per day.

Like all Lamberts formulations, it is manufactured in the United Kingdom to strict GMP (Pharmaceutical GMP) standards.
