Use:
Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid that cannot be synthesized by the body and therefore needs to be obtained through our diet.
In our body, phenylalanine is converted to another amino acid, Tyrosine, which in turn is used by the body to produce neurotransmitters called catecholamines which include adrenaline, noradrenaline and dopamine.
Phenylalanine exists in two forms, L-Phenylalanine which is a naturally occurring amino acid found in proteins and the D-Phenylalanine form
Which can be produced in a laboratory but is not needed by the body as a nutrient. Lamberts L-Phenylalanine is presented in its free form to aid optimal absorption.
Precursor of excitatory neurotransmitters – adrenaline, noradrenaline and dopamine.
These three neurotransmitters are important for alertness, memory retention and coordination of muscle movements.
Dosage:
1 capsule per day. It is best to take amino acids with fruit juices or water, rather than milk. The best intake of amino acids is ½ hour before any meal or bedtime.

Precautions:
L-PHENYLALANINE should not be taken by people with phenylketonuria.
Also, this product should not be co-administered with MAO inhibitors (MAO:Monoamine oxidase) - Type of depressant.
This product is not recommended for children and pregnant or nursing women.
