RooibosRooibos comes from the fynbos plant in South Africa, which has been consumed since the late 1700s. Rooibos contains unique bioactive phytochemicals, such as aspalathin, luteolin, quercetin, which have powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-mutagenic effects. Polyphenols such as rutin and quercetin enhance the anti-inflammatory activities of rooibos in allergies and digestion.
Sencha green tea Sencha green tea is a variety of Japanese green tea, derived from Camellia Sinensis. Sencha tea is made from tea plants that have been exposed to the sun all year round and grown in the shade for thirty days before harvesting. Sencha leaves are tightly compressed into needle-like shapes. Leaf covering appears to increase leaf chlorophyll concentration, causing leaves to turn dark green.
